Every time that guitars gets the spot, I get the chills. This guy f*cks.
It takes the album a few songs to really start, but by the time that you hit I Got My Eyes on You you're fully invested in what GCJ is deciding to play like.
Gotta say I was not super into FIDLAR even though i got the chance to see them live in Brooklyn. But this effort is the most that i've liked this band. Seems risky to surf so many different sounds and they come up victorious.
Pairing Called You Twice with Nuke is ballsy as f*ck.
