Tash Sultana - Terra Firma

Country: Australia

Genre: Neo Soul

For fans of: Milky Chance, Bootleg Rascal, Joy Crookes

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Tash Sultana has never written a song where it feels like they are trying too hard. Everything that they create feels flowing, natural and organic, it's an incredibly pleasant listening experience. This new project Terra Firma stands out because of how thematically consistent it is from start to finish.

Working in Sultana's classic, psychedelic grooves throughout, this album also dabbles in elements of Art Pop such as with the joyous Pretty Lady. There are slower tracks as well but all carry the same emotional resonance. I feel that many people think of Tash Sultana as having one distinctive sound, but this album demonstrates just how versatile they can be and that's why I'm so keen to recommend it.
