I like the individual songs a lot, especially the last two tracks. As an overall album I feel like there's not quite enough contrast but idk fr fr no cap no cap kabloom!.

I like the overall sound of the album quite a lot, but the lyrics leave something to be desired at times. Standout tracks for me are "Last Words of a Shooting Star," and "First Love / Late Spring." Overall, quite good I say!
I quite enjoy this album and Laufey in general. Her vocal performance is outstanding as always, and a few standout tracks for me are "Castle in Hollywood" and "Too Little, Too Late." I think the strongest parts of this album are definitely when it leans more heavily into its storytelling, and there are some interesting musical ideas in a few tracks such as "Sabotage." I need to give it another listen, but there's something in the way that it makes you raw when it washes over you. I've only really felt that before when reading Ocean Vuong's book: On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous. Just as Vuong brings an essence of poetry into his prose, this album feels like delving into the depths of a bottomless poem. The last refrain in "My Warm Blood" especially feels like a poem. As a certain LuTurtle put it: "Actually goated."
