A masterpiece of storytelling, with some incredible music to go along with it. Really, the only problem I have with the album is that the pitched up vocals are sometimes harmful to the song. Boyfriend and I Don’t Love You Anymore are both incredibly grating due to their inclusion. However, they work very well on Earfquake and Gone, Gone. Either way, very great album.
maybe I just need to sit with it a few more times, but this was incredibly underwhelming. It all felt so disjointed and at times uninteresting. I found this CD in a local thrift shop and I was kinda curious and honestly I’m completely blown away. This is easily one of the best albums ever made. It’s rare to see a 2 Hour long album not be utterly boring, but the Smashing Pumpkins created a masterpiece.
