And it all led to this. My deep dive into Weezer's discography has been... interesting, to say the least. There were some disappointments, there were some surprises. I honestly didn't know what to expect coming from this record, given how split the reception seems to be, albeit still positive comparatively. Fantano gave this an 8, Spectrum Pulse gave this a 4, and you all can't make up your minds enough to even put the user score in the green.

First half is excellent! It's versatile, funky, quirky, and chock full of wonderful songwriting. The second half isn't bad, but it all just kinda runs together for me with the occasional lyrical and melodic highlight.

Even if there are compelling tracks on here, it's not enough to distinguish the fact that Danny is probably the least original member to have come out of the PC music camp.
