I'm going to say something here and I want to reiterate that this is only my musical opinion. Erasing the quote on quote "big dogs" of progressive rock, I passionately feel like this might be the best prog album I've heard. Ewwww. I don't get why they shifted this way. Trying to make a relative post-pandemic record was just not the move. Still haven't recovered from my first full listen. I was left extremely disappointed.
Terrible person but he has somehow been able to make me not hate 3 of his songs.
In my opinion, the best that The Smiths has released. A perfect melting pot of what makes this group great.
