Indoor Pets - Be Content

This relatively new indie rock outfit has released an energetic and entertaining listen, but I ultimately left the album with not a lot of memorable moments or outstanding hooks. The heavily noisy guitar hits have a Queens of the Stone Age aesthetic to them. However, the guitar riffs are fairly unoriginal throughout with uninspiring lyrics. The biggest highlight of the album comes in that they are energetic and the pacing of their tracks lead an entertaining listen. However, I don't anticipate I will likely relisten to this album much into the future. Their sound doesn't distinguish from other indie rock outfits I have heard. I would give the album a listen, but it is fairly one note with a couple of interesting ideas.
