Vespertine

This is one of the strangest experiences I’ve ever had with an album! It’s relaxing enough, but it continues to be engaging track after track after track! The start I felt it was kinda similar to “Kid A”, but once I got fully into the record I understood it. This is one of the best pieces of contemporary art ever made! This is truly music to write poetry to! Every single song in here, from the electronic pieces to the more orchestral driven tracks, even the “Frosti” interlude, is produced immaculately and Björk herself continues to sound like an angel!

2001 was really one of the best years for music!
