I’m gonna come out and say it: this is their best album. Sure, maybe the more off-the-wall production style and the boys being in a more vulnerable state appeals to me a lot more but god damn - my main issue with the Saturation trilogy comes from there being too many forgettable tracks, but there’s none of that here. It’s so consistently exciting, emotionally potent when it needs to be but also brings tons of bangers - it’s not their most cohesive statement as a band necessarily, but it is their boldest.
