George FitzGerald - Not As I

The EP begins dramatically with 'Mother' featuring SYML and continues this mood until the end with 'All Roads'. It's simple and warm, and when you listen to it, even though the kick drum consistently stimulates your ears, it also feels serene. I feel once again that he is a good producer. There are no bangers or songs that will drive you crazy, but they may give you some relaxation late at night.
fallingwithscissors - the death and birth of an angel

Compressed songs like "Gh0st.Shell" and "blissful" are interesting, but some songs that remind me a bit of emo and deftones are less appealing. The terrible snare sound that makes even 17 minutes feel long is also disappointing. Although it's not the best on the EP, listening to songs that seek change like "(un)equivalent_exchange" makes me curious about their full-length album.
Foghat - Night Shift

Foghat doesn't like to worry. They straighten out and create a rhythm that gets everyone sitting up. Rod Price's guitar is in fact the real star of this album. This album contains many good songs, including "Drivin' Wheel", "Don't Run Me Down", "Burnin' The Midnight Oil", "Night Shift", and a cover song of Al Green's "Take Me To The River".

The girl, who listened to the music of many pop and rock musicians of the time, starting with the Beatles that played in her uncle's room when she was young, won an audition hosted by CBS/Sony and released her debut album. All 9 songs on her album were composed by herself. At the time, the promotional title for the album said, "The cutest singer-songwriter in the world," but the sound of the album was much more adult and mature. (Of course, that promotional content goes well with ... read more
Jeff Beck - Wired

The album that follows the jazz-rock classic "Blow By Blow" isn't as strong as its predecessor, but it's still good. “Led Boots,” a tribute to Led Zeppelin, Charles Mingus’ cover of “Goodbye Pork Pie Hat,” “Come Dancing,” and “Sophie,” which showcase Narada Michael Walden’s abilities as a talented drummer and songwriter. “Play With Me,” featuring Jan Hammer and Jeff Beck, is also good. The closing tracks ... read more

thank you for posting about the Afro Exotique album. Always searching for African music and world music sounds that are not what I usually expect ! You probably have heard Akofa Akoussah. Every time I hear her solo singing in "I Tcho Tchass" it is a WOW .
