MUNA - Saves the World

Although MUNA craft a stellar album from a production prospective with stellar synthpop energy and danceable tracks, there is limited memorable moments throughout and few levels of variability.

Saves The World is hard to dislike as each song is pleasantly performed both vocally and sonically, but I found that throughout listening I was mostly disengaged and nothing stood out for the most part. That is until the final track where it felt as though MUNA truly saved the best for last in regard to engaging storytelling and masterful synthy tones. Had the entire album been at this level, this would have been an incredible piece of work, however it inevitably was too little too late as the entirety of the lead up didn't seem to be at the same level as this final song.

Perhaps something about this album just didn't click for me where for others it would, as this seems like the kind of style that would generally land with me. However, the lack of stylistic changes is hard to get passed for me.
