Brockhampton - Saturation III

Okay, okay, okay. That's what I thought multiple times throughout listening to this. Okay, I'm getting something off of this. Okay, I can see a little bit of this hype.

On Saturation III Brockhampton put together their must cohesive of the trilogy. The bars flow a little smoother, the beats hit a little harder, and the themes come across better than ever. This is where the group start to shine their light and revel in their experimental pop-fusion of hip hop. I can't say for sure what it is, but this album seems the most distinct from the trilogy as different, bright, and well organized.

I can at least understand where the hype for this group comes from, especially their DIY mentality and their charisma. Musically, however, I just think they can be a little hit or miss. Maybe the personality overshadows the music for some, but as an objective listener I just don't think this is astounding. But for sure, Saturation III is their greatest work of Brockhampton up to this point.
