been waiting for this album for a hot minute. the folk incorporated into this album is something that really fits her voice. the lyricism has clearly evolved and built upon from her past projects and it's really evident how much this album means to her
standouts include say my name in your sleep, kingmaker, vampire time, old fashioned, girls just flying
was a little underwhelming with a lack of standout throughout the tracks, especially at the start. why you wanna fight and on my soul gave the project a little something extra which was nice
overall, just ok
hits: on my soul, why you wanna fight, nothing left
skips: risk it all, something serious, cha cha cha
as a project it felt like all of the songs were a little forgettable. the production on most of the songs is beautiful but a lot of the songs feel tiring to listen to. maybe i'll watch the movie and have a different perspective, but for now, it's just eh.
such a good project and raindance is just my obsession at the moment
hit: all of them
skips: none
