HELLO HELLO KITTY HAPPY IN NEW YORK CITY AMITY WALKIN LIKE A LUCKY CHARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
100

Yeah man idk this is probably his best album. Idk if it'll change later as it usually does, but anyways it's life changing. His entire discography is that.

ARE YOU SURPRISED WHEN I TOUCH THE DWARF INSIDEEEEEEEEEEEE

Elliott Smith - Either/Or

Damn this is so good, sounds so minimal but intricate at the same time.

Life changing

Slint - Spiderland

Wow, just wow, first time I've heard a sort of spoken word thing like this; the emotion is insane on this album. Also one of the most creepy and eerie records I've ever listened to.

Radiohead - The Bends
90

While some other radiohead albums might be better from an objective standpoint, I'd say that this album is my second favorite, behind OK Computer. Also this is the best album cover of all time imo.
Best Track: Fake Plastic Trees
Worst: Sulk

Fugazi - Repeater
83

Gonna have to re listen to this album, but this was a great and engaging listen all the way through.

Fav Tracks: Blueprint, shut the door, turnover, repeater

Pavement - Wowee Zowee
84

I am so pissed because I went to a pavement show recently and they played mostly wowee zowee songs, the one album I didn't fully listen to before going to the show. I totally missed out because this album is a hidden gem. Reminds me a lot of Slanted, they refused to be safe on this album and I love it for that.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
100

The guitar arrangements rip through me on this album, all the while the guitar tones can be harsh, they can be ethereal and soothing. The Smashing Pumpkins do this to the best extent on this album, and carry it on for the entirety, not taking any dips in quality. Peak alt rock.

Fav Tracks: Rocket, Today, Soma, Geek USA, Spaceboy, Mayonaise

Least Favorite: None

edit: dis a 10

The Smashing Pumpkins - Beguiled

Man I love the pumpkins, but this track made me sad

Blur - Blur
83

The first three songs on this album are top notch, and just shows how versatile Blur can be. That goes to say, there are many other tracks on this album that are brilliant. The only complaint I have with this album is that it's flow can be a bit choppy at times. That doesn't diminish that this album has many highlights throughout.

Fav tracks: Beetlebum, Song 2, You're so great, Country Sad ballad man, I'm Just a Killer for Your Love, Death of a Party

Worst tracks: Movin' On

Björk - Homogenic
97

Honestly people are not lying when they say this album sounds other worldly. This has to be the most unique and sophisticated album I've ever heard. The vocals are beyond phenomenal, the productional is amazing, the instrumentation takes the listener elsewhere. Definitely a must listen album. Can't get enough of it. Mastapiece.

Fav Tracks: Joga, Unravel, Bachelorette, Hunter, All is Full of Love, Alarm Call
Worst tracks: none

Björk - Post

Wow. This is an interesting project for sure, this project blends use of electronic music and jazz to create such an engaging listen from beginning to end. While the jazz isn't as prominent as the electronic influence, when the jazz does come in, it really works. Hardly any filler on this album and I'd definitely recommend this to someone who wants to get into Björk for the first time. Now I'm gonna go listen to Homogenic.

Fav Tracks: Army of Me, Hyperballad, The Modern Things, Enjoy, ... read more

Deftones - Around the Fur
90

An album so unique in terms of how earth shattering, and also ethereal the vocals can be. I find this album to be one of their best sounding because of it's transitory sound coming from the brutal and unrelenting adrenaline, and the more experimental white pony. I find that around the fur has a great mix of the two, and it's something that makes me keep coming back to this album.

Ween - Pure Guava
80

THIS ALBUM IS A STRAIGHT BANGER AND THE VIBE IS SO GOOD I CAN'T GET OVER IT. This album will probably grow on me over time, but that's what I feel what ween is all about.
