Pretty nice Jpop.
A tad on the safe side, but it’s a nice listen with clean riffs and general instrumentation.
Small nitpick that might just be a me thing: The solos seem rushed. They start pretty immediately after the vocals, leaving little space and are unclear in delivery/ intention. This rushed feeling drags through most of the work and might well be intentional, personally I don’t like it.
I might change my mind on this later, but after the first listen:
This piece is hard to rate. As a work in pop it’s well above average and a nice listen, as a work in classical it’s uninteresting.
The album dedicates a lot of space to the singer, to such a degree that most classical aspects don’t get to shine. Listening to it fully in one sitting therefore does get tedious for a lack of genuine variety.
