At the very least it's an honest portrayal of Kanye's state right now but it's a very bitter, insecure and childish picture of him.
this might be kanye's most disgusting verse. The delusion, the insecurity, the necessity to flex his new girl, but mostly, the bitterness toward his ex, pete davidson and even his own kids?

the proportion of how appalling this verse is is that it started with a Taylor swift callback and people don't seem to remember it happened, that he undermined his therapy and nobody seems to care, that he yet again undermined his ex wife's wealth a la on god's "I cannot let my family starve" line acting like his kids would not be rich if it wasn't for him and insinuating that his kids should struggle and reach for that top ramen in order to not be spoiled and nobody cares, the two things that get referenced is the Pete Davidson line and the gore cover, those two are awful in a much more flashy way that they have undermined how ugly Kanye's attitude is in the rest of the verse.

and this is on top of his delivery being on auto pilot, the beat merely sufficing with a background and not more, the odd production choices that are more distracting than enjoyable and despite a good the game verse.

I don’t know who I dislike more, Kanye or the fans that defend him
