Just completed late Beach House Friday s12a2 Devotion (2007)

Wedding Bell: Not too fond of the singing and the keyboard. Alright track for beach house.

You Came to Me: Good just felt a little long.

Gila: Probably the best track so far. Nice and calming. I liked the keyboard and synth throughout.

Turtle Island: I liked the ending. Not really all that different from the other tracks. Good.

Holy Dances: My favorite so far. I liked how all the instruments meshed together.

All the Years: This one was good.

Heart of Chambers: Good but it sounds like a track I've already heard.

Some Things Last a Long Time: Shortest track. Not much happens. Still decent.

Astronaut Decent. Sounds the same.

D.A.R.L.I.N.G.: monkey.

Home Again: The lyrics got pretty repetitive near the end. Ok.

Every song transitioned nicely into the next.
A lot of the songs sounded far too similar and some instrumentals lacked development.
Some tracks also overstayed their welcome.
Kinda all meshed together into a big glob.
Great background noise album.
Decent to Strong 7
