Always had a thing for The Strokes' vibe, so even when First Impressions leaves a lot to be desired compared to their other projects, it offers some banger tracks (specially towards the beginning)

Dry Cleaning presents an initially intriguing sound and vocals, but as tracks go by you quickly realize that you already heard all they had to offer in the first couple songs

Production-wise, Dungeon Lane doesn't offer anything outstanding, but Paul's songwriting has been constantly evolving through a 60-year old career and it's still reaching new heights to this day

Boards of Canada creates an atmospheric dream-like sound that engulfs whoever listens

Had no idea of how divisive Peggy was as a public figure until I saw the reactions to this new album, really took me by surprise. I have been a huge fan of his music for quite a while, so it's a shame that I kinda have to agree with the hate. Far from a bad album, but it does feel like Peggy ran out of new ideas, which is the opposite of being "experimental"

Not always nails the delivery of its messages, but the sheer ambition of the project kinda compensates

Glad to finally be over with this 3 album drop. Drake has genuinely given multiple worst of the year contenders. Maid of Honour probably offers the worst lyrics in the dude's discography

Not even cringe, Drake fr just fucking boring on this one. I think that alone makes it the worst of the trilogy for me, I just can't care

Antropoceno flawlessly blends many styles and genres coming from various cultures. The resulting sounds have such a magnetic vibe to them, it's truly something special

Happy to listen to something this obviously political. Kneecap is as fierce as usual, and their lyricism reaches heights I had never seen from them. Sadly, I wasn't the biggest fan of the beats, but they don't ruin the experience at all
