Sonically, there is nothing wrong with this album. While it does not break any ground, it borders on an enjoyable little listen. But the lyrics on a lot of the songs are really cringy. "Girlfriend," for example could have been written by a 12-year-old (and not by someone who is almost 40). There are some big highlights though. "Don't Do Me Good" with a feature by Kacey Musgraves is a whole other level. It is almost like the other writer came in and said that she would not be embarrassed by the lyricism on the rest of the record. "For Months Now" is also pretty good.
