I have very mixed feelings about this deluxe, pretty much all of them feel like copies of Gracie's old songs. 'That's So True' sounds exactly like 'Risk' from the standard edition of this record, 'Told You Things' sounds EXACTLY like another Gracie song but I cannot think of what it is, specifically the chorus melody. But that's not to say I don't enjoy these tracks, they just feel like they were made just to make a deluxe version. What I'm ... read more
Gracie Abrams has released her second studio album, and it's proved to be very polarizing. There are people like me who really enjoy this turn for Gracie, and then there are others who despise this kind of music. Is it kind of bland? Sure. But is it fun? YES. And I really love it. Gracie's old music has pretty good scores on here, and many people describe her as having lots of potential, and I still think that she does. Tracks like 'Close To You', 'Risk', and ... read more
Coming off one of Beyonce's best and most successful records "RENAISSANCE", COWBOY CARTER had to be great to live up to it. And it is. COWBOY CARTER pays a great tribute to the true origins of country, putting the soul back into it. After what modern country has turned into, this was a perfect refresh for the genre. COWBOY CARTER comes in at a whopping 27 tracks, with 6 of them being interludes, this still leaves room for 21 tracks, and each one of them is crucial to the story ... read more
Am I missing something? Putting Melanie aside and just looking at this as an album by itself, why does everyone hate it so much? I mean, it's not really that bad in my opinion, I actually like it. Can someone actually please like educate me and not just say 'it sucks', I genuinely want to know, I feel like I'm left out of some huge joke. Is it just because of Melanie? Is it the odd trilogy/storyline that follows through her records? I really don't know.
I'm gonna ... read more
LADY GAGA IS BACK!!!!! I am genuinely so happy to hear this, The Fame was my childhood and this really gives that/Born This Way. I do think that the lyrics could use a bit more work but is Lady Gaga's talent really being a songwriter? No. The visuals for the are also really cool, I am SO excited for LG7.
'OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES' is a groundbreaking, boundary pushing, and electrifying piece of art. Throughout this record we see the most vulnerable sides of SOPHIE, specifically with her experiences as a transgender woman. Sonically, it's extremely harsh but brings you in in a way that's unexplainable, it's like a sirens call. SOPHIE is a pioneer, a one-of-a-kind, once in a lifetime talent. Her production talent is incredible and seen all throughout this ... read more
This is a beautifully crafted house album and a perfect tribute to the genre. It mixes a very specific era of dance/house music with a sound that stays true to Beyonce's discography and connects with the mainstream. In my opinion, this is her magnum opus and her best album so far.

Being used to the more storytelling side of Ethel Cain, it surprised me how much I enjoyed this EP, which heavily relies on production. Although her songwriting still shines, it's nothing compared to her debut record. One thing that I don't really understand is why there were features, I feel like Ethel Cain as an artist should remain mysterious and I feel that Hayden agrees with that, so I'm just kind of confused with the creative decisions she made with this EP. I enjoy lil ... read more
I CAN'T BELIEVE WE'RE GETTING ANOTHER ETHEL CAIN ALBUM AKSJDHAKDSFH. Okay..
While describing "Punish", Hayden says "Punish is about a pedophile who was shot by the child’s father and now lives in exile where he physically maims himself to simulate the bullet wound in order to punish himself." This gives me an entirely new perspective to this track, but I can't seem to tell what Hayden's perspective is on this topic.
The lyrics seem almost ... read more
Willson is my first project from Ashe, and I feel pretty conflicted. While I enjoy what I'm hearing, I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. I really just enjoy the overall vibe and atmosphere that this record creates, starting with the album cover. The first couple tracks, Castle, and Devil Herself have a indie rock feel, but others like Helter Skelter and I hope you die first feel like ballads. The beginning and end of the record is great, but toward the middle it feels a little ... read more
A surprisingly well-crafted EP from TikTok star Addison Rae. But in my opinion, this is kind of mediocre, I still enjoy it though. Her newer music is much better compared to this.

This is a pretty fun start to Charli's experimental hyperpop/bubblegum bass sonic direction. Are these my favorite Charli songs? No, Vroom Vroom is good but none of these really stand out to me against her later music.
favs: Vroom Vroom, Trophy

In Madison Beer's criminally underrated sophomore album, Beer tells us what has happened her between the release of her debut album Life Support and Silence Between Songs, which can also add to the title of this record. She goes into themes of depression, anxiety, familial relationships, and overcoming mental health problems, among other things. The writing on this record is impeccable, her writing abilities are really under appreciated. She perfectly puts into words the beauty of nature ... read more
3 great new additions to a near perfect record. These songs stay cohesive with the sound of BRAT but bring in a new element. Hello goodbye is really underrated in my opinion.
After listening to the first 3 tracks I would just say this is basic club music, give it a 70 and never really think too much about it anymore. But the last 3 tracks, especially the EP closer 'thicc' really made me rethink that. I still think that this isn't super advanced or excellent as I was expecting in terms of vocals or production. I'm specifically disappointed about the vocals because I LOVED her voice in the 365 remix with Charli xcx but it just wasn't giving ... read more
Throughout this record, Finneas shows us all sides of himself and his musical ability. This record contained a lot more ballads than I thought but it also kept me guessing. After 'Same Old Story' I was tired of ballads and was expecting to hate Sweet Cherries, but it ended up being a more upbeat track that is actually one of my favorites. This record is nothing revolutionary or excellent in terms of art but it has a really nice vibe and most of the tracks are some of my favorite songs ... read more
This review is completely biased because I love Sabrina and have been a fan for a while, so I understand that this definitely isn't everyone's cup of tea and that's okay but I really enjoy this record. I, personally, think that this is Sabrina at her best... except for the ballads. Don't get me wrong I love the slower songs on this album but they kind of feel half-baked compared to the ballads on 'emails i cant send'. I mean... because i liked a boy??? HELLO?? But ... read more
Diet Pepsi was good. This is fucking great. Addison Rae truly is saving pop it's not even a joke anymore.
I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT THIS EXISTED BUT THANK GOD IT DOES. No bc why am I listening to the contest song ever and a MAN comes and YELLS in my EAR. Tommy Cash is a horrible rapper/artist and if he EVER ruins another Charli song I will never forgive him or Charli tbh. Slayyyter should've been the first choice anyways bc she ate this up.
