Damn this is a really good indie rock album! I'm kind of getting some Chappell Roan from the main vocalist, but her vocals are really good and just perfectly fit this genre. This is my first The Last Dinner Party listening experience, I have absolutely no prior knowledge, I don't even know their names. Which, for me, can sometimes be hard to listen to an album without knowing anything about the artist(s), but I really enjoyed this record. It gives me like 70s/80s/90s vibes (IDK MY ... read more
This album is a masterpiece. It's art. NO ONE gets this album like I do. I'm so glad that it's a purple must-hear because it deserves it 100%.

TINASHE I WAS NOT AWARE OF YOUR GAME... This album is so fun. Her voice is beautiful and sexy, the beats are fresh and summery and fun and overall this is just a nice, digestible r&b album. It definitely lulls a bit toward the middle, but I still really like it. The first 2 tracks are amazing, Getting No Sleep is one of my favorite songs to come out this year, no joke. Surprisingly, the standout thing of this album was her voice. I didn't think that would be the case but here we are. ... read more
I used to hate this but now it's one of my favorite remixes and I can't listen to the original I only hear the beginning of this remix.
This remix album was a GROWER. At first, I really only liked the singles and like 2 others, but now I've learned to love the majority of them. I think that this is a really smart move to kind of end the brat era, at least with the music. There are some super mainstream features like Ariana Grande and Tinashe but also some for the fans like Caroline Polachek, Shygirl, and A. G. Cook. I don't think that Charli's goal with these tracks were to make them better, because they are just ... read more
GUYS I GET IT. Like I got it the first listen but now i GET IT. This is one of the best things that has ever graced my ears. I feel so fortunate to be alive at the same time as Pop 2. This mixtape might be Charli's magnum opus and while not every track is a total banger, the highs are some of the best in her career and, honestly, of all time.

I really did not expect to love and resonate with this album as much as I do, it's genuinely pop perfection and easily one of the best pop records of the 2020's so far. From the club classics like Rush to heartbreaking ballads like Still Got It and Can't Go Back, Baby, Troye delivers a short but sweet, thrilling and depressing, perfect pop record. I love the sad songs because they really show that no one is perfect nor has a perfect life. Songs like Rush paint Troye as this party ... read more
This is some of the dreamiest dream pop I've ever heard. María's vocals are spot on and airy and just perfect in every track, her voice was MADE for this genre. The production makes it feel like you're just floating in the ocean, deep underwater, but content. This is one of my favorite releases this year and I wish it was getting more recognition. The first time I heard this album I genuinely wanted to cry. Also, pretty much all of the tracks have 82+ so why is this not a ... read more
I really don't understand the hatred for this album. Like a 48 is kind of crazy to me, and I think that it all stems from the fact that it's Taylor Swift. The Taylor Swift hate train has been getting stronger and stronger ever since Midnights came out, and it's at its worst now. If this was any other artist, it would have at least like a 60 and very constructive reviews. But since it's Taylor, it's all hate and rude, unnecessary comments. The whole point of this website ... read more
Caroline's vocals are OUT OF THIS WORLD. I have no idea how she does anything in this album but I'm starstruck every time I hear her voice. The production is really unique and really creates an atmosphere that feels a lot like the album artwork. Welcome To My Island is a perfect album opener and sets the tone really well. Her vocals in the beginning really sound like a tribe call which sets up the story of the record perfectly. Sunset is a beautiful track that has some of ... read more
Amaarae is one of the best artists that I've discovered in a while. I saw her open for Sabrina Carpenter on the Short n' Sweet tour and was immediately obsessed. After the concert I listened to Fountain Baby and fell in love. Since then, which was almost 2 months ago now, I've only fell deeper in love with this record. In Fountain Baby, Amaarae evolves the genre of 'afrobeats' into something much more. Her vocals are sweet and sultry and the production is interesting ... read more
Kesha, the original 365 partygirl. The mother of all mothers. The cuntiest woman alive. She killed this.
I will defend this album till the day I die. Although not as experimental or boundary-pushing as something like Pop 2 or how i'm feeling now, it still sticks out from mainstream pop. This album honestly is just very fun and an enjoyable listen all around. I don't think that there are any skips, this record is just fun. I fear it deserves an 80.

This album has grown on me so much. It's not that I didn't like it at first, but now I really appreciate every track and realize that there really isn't any filler on this album. My original problem with this record was the middle few songs, I really just thought that they were filler, but now I enjoy every single track. Some more than others, of course, but all nonetheless. This was definitely Charli's best record before Brat, it just has everything that you could want in a ... read more
CAN WE PLEASE SPEAK ABOUT THE MUSIC VIDEO? Anyways, this song is actually pretty good. Definitely a step in the right direction for Tate. But, I really don't like the chorus. The verses are really catchy though, but the writing and melodies comes off a bit corny in the chorus. The rest of the song slaps though.
Admittedly, I've never been the biggest fan of The Weeknd. His music just sounded like radio-tailored music to me and his voice was quite annoying to me. But, the melody of the chorus is incredible. His voice actually sounds great in this song and matches this production style so well. This is the first time that I'll listen to a The Weeknd album in full, I'm actually pretty excited for this upcoming record.
Aside from Cannibal and Animal, I haven't really indulged in Kesha that much. I LOVE Animal and Cannibal so much, they're both so fun and just overall iconic pop records, but I haven't felt that way about a Kesha song in a long time. Keep in mind, I haven't listened to Gag Order, though. But this is SO GOOD. It has like a circus type-beat with an accordion and a choir and the chorus melody is weird as fuck and I just love it.
This is genuinely one of Billie's best songs. Her vocals sound so well-produced and the autotune helps to express so much emotion, it's such a great stylistic choice and matches the electropop production perfectly. There is so much going on I'm always noticing more things about this track, it is so intriguing.
Chappell's vocals and 80's-esque synths make for one of the best and most unique singles of 2024.
