way too short and all the songs sound too similar to eachother with no clear beginning or end when listened to all together
this album has way too much whimsy for me. some the tracks are really forgettable and its weirdly loud for the dreampop sound its going for. i think its okay and i still revisit a couple songs typically
rare spotify discover weekly W, somewhat pleasant listen that i would put in a midwest emo playlist.
i think its good, a lot of songs are similar sounding unfortunately. Boyish is such a good song.
last review of tonight. this song is so uniquely whimsical and tragic at the same time. it honestly scares me how eerie it is, but one of my favorite past times is going on websites like FBI's most wanted or The Doe Network and reading cases on there while Campbell's music plays in the background. I will GUARENTEE if you do this you WILL shit yourself depending on how late into the night it is or get insanely depressed, or both.
Dazey and the Scouts is nearly too performative-kind-of-woke for me to enjoy to its fullest. Lyrics are kind of cringe. I think its just a gay sounding punk album with nothing else really. They definitely leave a decent impression, and based on this album I would have at least be interested to check out anything else they would've eventually made. I know someone irl who glazes this album and theyre one of the most annoying people ive ever met. Thats all.
13 year old that cuts themselves and posts it on twitter type of song
"i still hit when she says no don't understand when she don't wanna"
???????????????
feels very retro. first couple tracks dont really have the same hold on my brain as some of the others.
similarly inoffensive. its strangely somber but tries to be theatrical at the same time, and not in a good way. also im just a fucking hater lmfaoooo. but honestly none of these songs are exactly memorable except "I Want You" which is a pretty plain song in itself. so ERRRRRRR BIG RED BUZZER
