Giant Steps

Yet another Coltrane classic. 'Giant Step' is Coltrane yet again delivering us some vibrant and exciting hard bop material, Coltrane as a saxophonist is on point throughout the entire project and he leads these musicians that accompany him to do the same. The compositions are exhilarating to say the least and it barely leaves me with a dull moment. Is it my favourite Coltrane project so far? Possibly.
