im usually not a huge rap metal fan so at first it didnt really click, but after a couple listens i started to enjoy it a lot more

Absolutely insane debut album, possibly one of the best I’ve ever heard. The production of Anthony James is genuinely mindblowing, and the passion behind the lyricism on John Michel is insane. I hope these 2 make it big in the industry someday

I understand the hype, but i genuinely cant see most of these songs as listenable if youre not listening to the full album

Absolutely breathtaking album. I loved the use of samples; however, it’s not a good album to start on if you’ve never listened to JPEGMAFIA or Danny Brown.

Yet again, Drake is going off the same format he always does. Make 30 low effort songs and hope 1 of them is a hit. Pretty much every song on the album sounds the exact same except maybe 3-4. However there were a few songs I liked, such as CN TOWER, NOKIA, and PIMMIE’S DILEMMA. Overall with the album’s length it just felt like a huge waste of time for me, like most of Drake’s album since Views have felt.

(This rating was made ignoring everything he’s done to provide an unbiased viewpoint) I’ll have to admit the majority of my rating comes from the album’s stellar production. I love the use of samples and the mixing in the album. However a huge deduction from this is the AI lyrics, I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt though because it is sort of a rough draft version.
