As an opener, it’s flawless. It teases a new era and leaves me wishing for Track 2 to be the next global dance anthem, just like ‘Hung Up’ was.
The track doesn't aim for the epic scale of her past work, yet the chemistry with Sabrina Carpenter creates a lighthearted, happy vibe that’s hard to resist.
Madonna proves that the dance floor isn't just for moving your body, but for baring your soul.
Why all the hate for this album? I don't think the abundance of interludes justifies the backlash. It’s a great record, though at times I found it reminiscent of 2013-era Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. Being a first-time listener, those comparisons made it a bit hard to pin down Agnes’s own musical identity. Aside from that, it’s a very solid body of work.
I’m surprised by the lukewarm audience score; to me, this is Selena Gomez’s most organic collaboration. Her vocals fit Rema’s vibe seamlessly, bringing a warmth that elevates the track and proves that, in the right sonic landscape, she is simply untouchable.
