King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King

yup yup yup I eat this shit up every time holy moly yummy in my tummy. DON'T look at album cover while tripping though you will not like it. The music however never ceases to amaze me and I wanna write an orchestra composition of that first track because it ROCKS. Love it.

Oh yeah baby this is a fun one and the last track is incredible. I'm always humming that bassline.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

Ok this one blows my socks off every time. It just holds so much and offers so much more. It's hard to not like it. It's just great and doesn't need anything more to add to it. Love it.

Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon

Yes I enjoy this one it makes me feel freaky. First time I heard it I didn't like it but then I gave it another listen and I fell in love with it.

高中正義 [Masayoshi Takanaka] - AN INSATIABLE HIGH

My first Takanaka album that I've listened to. I don't think it's as good as his other works but nonetheless incredible. I like looking back on this album as my gateway out of rap. You could say that this album saved me from becoming a TikTok rap rating NPC who gives anything popular 10s. I can't do that anymore because it's albums like these that blow others out from the water. I owe this album to the musical transition I had in my life. Thanks, Takanaka.

This one is so good all the way through. It somehow feels nostalgic even. So much fun to listen to on a late night drive.

高中正義 [Masayoshi Takanaka] - BRASILIAN SKIES

By god is it gorgeous. You close your eyes while you listen and instantly your transported inside the album cover, sharing an ice cold beer with the one and only Takanaka. As you drink, he plays the guitar and serenades you with his catchy, upbeat riffs, and slow, meaningful esoteric jazzy chords. People start dancing and soon so do you. The day is alive with everyone chanting "La Papaya!" and your soul is lifted as you sing and praised all the greatness that is Brasilian Skies by ... read more

My first hundred for a couple reasons. I had heard hype on this album for about a year before I listened to it but I never had the motivation to go out of my way to buy it on bandcamp. But I did end up buying it for the least amount of money I could. 1 Dollar. For that low low price I was brought upon the gates of Jpegmafia's mind. I eagerly opened the doors and was anxious at what I saw. At the beginning track, "Ballad of a Poor Man," Peggy talks about depression and suicidal ... read more

Devon Hendryx - JOECHILLWORLD [Reissue]

There was a point when I listened to this album nonstop during school and its burned into my brain like a burnt image on a TV. It's so good and I love coming back to it.

JPEGMAFIA - All My Heroes Are Cornballs

Love this album but it's a little poppy for my taste. Peggy tries too hard to be what he very obviously isn't. He's clearly trying to cater to a new audience which I think skews from his creative philosophy. Great album though.

JPEGMAFIA - Veteran

This shit changed rap and you can't convince me otherwise. At one point the musician asks, "What is music?" and Peggy just yells at you and you forget everything and decide to enjoy this masterpiece. Sure not a lot of "aux" worthy songs but that's not the point. The theme of this album is if you only listen to music to be a part of a broader community get a life and stop hating. fantastic record.

JPEGMAFIA - Black Ben Carson

nope nope nope I love Peggy but this album scares me and I don't like it. cool mixes though.

JPEGMAFIA - LP! (Offline Version)

This thing fucking rocks. At one point I had hated the military chant instrumentals but looking back I have no idea why. Front to back there are no misses on this record. Just shy of perfect because of how "NEMO!" hurts my ears when I hear it. Not to say it's not a producer feat by any means, just not for me. Besides that, the energy in this Mello pop-rap album is crazy. Bars and bangers all the way through.

JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU

This album is overall great except I just can't put the use of AI past Peggy, even if it's for a joke or whatever. That one track, "either on or off the drugs," will never sit right with me. Everything else in my opinion is outstanding composition wise. "SIN MIEDO" might be one of my favorite tracks from jpegmafia. Although not his best by far, just another great album to add to his discography.

Lift to Experience - The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads [Remaster]

Never listened to shoe gaze at all until my friend introduced me to this masterpiece. Every listen gives a unique listening experience and that's why it is truly special.
