Their last album was very hit or miss for me, only liked 3 or 4 songs. This is SUCH an improvement, 3 back to back flawless tracks

The wait was simply worth it. Despite the singles being more complex than album tracks, every song has something different going for it that makes it stand out. And "Are You Really Okay?" made me tear up a bit, which is rare.

FAVORITE TRACKS: The Summoning, Granite, Aqua Regia, Ascensionism, Are You Really Okay?, The Apparition, Take Me Back to Eden, Euclid

outside of the last 2 tracks which are a bit boring/same-y, this was a very enjoyable experience

if grandson keeps this up, his second album might have more than 2 listenable songs. Eulogy is still very awful tho

it's a grower for sure, like most other Shikari albums. lyrics lack a bit conpared to their older works tho

this album is unique. in a sense that it has the best riffs, leads, heavy/angry moments and guitar production metalcore has to offer, but the most awkward/forced clean moments and choruses imaginable

LEAST FAVORITES: Fluorescent White, Killing What's Underneath, Demon of My Own

the first single was a 0/10, this one is much better

a bop, but i hope to see some heavy riffs on the album

i love the production so much, especially on 1st, 9th and 10th tracks. it's a bit all over the place, but at the same time so catchy and awesome. man i love Landon

for some reason, i really really love this

main riff sounds just like the breakdown of Arcane Roots' "Triptych" but the song slaps so hard it only makes it better
