This is everything I thought Lisa's debut would sound like. With that being said, this is hands down the best Blackpink solo body of work. It is consistently good, even if there are a couple of songs that I don't really care it is still great throughout. This sounds like it has soul, just from the decision of even having an intro interlude track alone tells me she even bothered making decisions in placing the tracks because "like JENNIE" could easily be the opener if this was an album by the other BP members.
Is this the best thing I've ever heard? No, but is it surprising and unexpected? Yes.
