Although I'm not as active as I used to be on this site (a bit busy).
Every now and then, I can't resist listening to a bit of Buckethead. And I decided to go back and listen to some classic Pike Progressive Rock Riffs by this distinguished guitarist.
He always impresses me with how accustomed he is to this style. He records EPs and singles as a normal thing, like over his morning coffee.
But it takes some of the sincerity out of it, which is ... read more

Theatre of the Disembodied!
A classic name for a Buckethead Pike album.
The beloved Pike 308 is a riffing album like many others from the time it was released, without a single guitar solo.
With only 5 tracks, each of them lasting more or less 4 to 5 minutes or more, giving what one would expect, something that truly seems like an album with more variety.

However, with the good impression of Pike 50 finally clicking deeply in me, ... read more

Happy New Year! :-D
What an amazing way to start 2025 with Buckethead and COB!
COB, you're a genius, you managed to bring along with your wonderful skill and creativity, a mega-creative Buckethead!
It's been a long time since I've seen such a fun, creative, and skillful Buckethead on an album like this!
Can you see how solid this album is? It is even more so thanks to its length.
Seriously, Buckethead loves to rush out Pikes with a length of ... read more
