I don't see a huge difference between this album and Sundowning (expect it lacks the big highlights à la The Offering, Higher, Gods). I would even say that its weaknesses are even more present here: a lot of the songs build to nothing or are just drag for way too long, the occasional breakdowns at the end also lack the impact (except Hypnosis).
Overall an ok album nothing more.
Favorites: Alkaline (by far the best song and one of my favorite songs of the year), Hypnosis and The Love You ... read more

Oh man I really wanted to like this more, I think this band is extremely talented (every single member not only the vocalist) but most of their songs just don't doing for me. And there's no difference in this album too, while clearly their heaviest (especially that first half damn) most songs just sound the same to me man.
Favorites: Wallflower (by far the best song, and I whished the whole album was so good), Mediator and Call Me A Symbol.

This sounds really beautiful and hypnotizing but also really dark and somehow disturbing (the extremely low pitched vocals in CYTOKINESIS creep the shit out of me lol). Musically speaking it's started really strong but unfortunately has quickly dropped in quality in the 2nd half, with some really boring and monotony tracks. Production and mixing also could be ... read more

While I enjoyed this EP a bit and there's definitely nothing wrong about it, this band surely can do a lot better. Hoping for me interesting stuff in the future.
Favorites: The Water and Dangerous.
