Yeat - ADL

After a few listens, this album has definitely grown on me. My first impression was mixed, but it improves with replay. Yeat experiments a lot here and pushes his sound forward, which I respect, even if not everything fully lands.
Some tracks feel less impactful and the features were underwhelming, but Yeat himself carries the project well. The album has a consistent vibe and more replay value than it initially seems, even if it’s not his most immediately engaging work.

Honestly this might be 1oneam’s best project yet. He kept his usual vibe but added more emotion and smoother production this time. The first half goes crazy — “I Can Fly,” “Match My Vibe,” and “Just Like Me” all hit hard and show how much he’s improved. The beats sound cleaner and more creative, and you can tell he’s playing around more with his flows and adlibs.

The second half’s a bit weaker with a few weaker songs like ... read more

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this album, but Samia surprised me. Her voice is fragile yet powerful, and the album hits emotionally in a way I didn’t expect. Songs like "Big Wheel" and "Is There Something in the Movies?" really stood out, balancing catchy melodies with personal lyrics.

It’s not perfect, but it’s honest, melodic, and easy to get lost in. Definitely worth a listen if you like chill, emotional indie-pop.

This album starts off rough. The first half feels lazy and repetitive, with songs blending into each other and some flows just not hitting. But I’ll give YB props — the second half definitely picks things up. He even gets a little experimental with his sound near the end, and while it’s not perfect, it made the project way more listenable.

Overall, DESHAWN isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either. Just a middle-of-the-road YB project with some sparks toward the ... read more

Yeat - DANGEROUS SUMMER

This one started off strong fr. First few tracks had me thinking Yeat was in his bag again—the energy was there, the beats were tough, and it had that raw vibe he does best. But somewhere along the way he started trying some experimental stuff and... yeah, it didn’t really hit.

*EDIT- I take my shit back some tracks seriously grew on me. Old rating: 65 new rating: 75
