When I first listened to this album, i was struck by its visceral imagery both lyrically and sonically, but I don't think I fully grasped its purpose nor beauty. I didn't quite 'get it'.
Today i felt sloggy as I hadn't showered and I'd spent most of the day playing video games and scrolling twitter/watching videos. A lot of touching myself also lmao. I realised that I felt this way and had an urge to go outside. I am extremely privileged to live on a decent amount ... read more
absolute fucking dogshit i hate this so much, especially because his old music was so much better. insane and very unexpected falloff
yeah its progressive and pushed the band further yadda yadda yadda but i honestly dont enjoy it as much as, like, in rainbows and ok computer. don't get me wrong, i still enjoy it a lot, its a radiohead album, but it just doesnt have the soul of my top 2 to me which is what places it lower. (i will preface this by saying this is a complete body of work. it is best to listen through it in order in one sitting. the songs can stand on their own, but together they become so much more.)

It leads the listener through the childhood of the protagonist, presumably the lead singer, in such a deeply personal way. It begins with naive ... read more
