Saba & No I.D. - From the Private Collection of Saba and No I.D.
87

From Private Collection by Saba and no ID
Everything is perfectly mastered. Saba and No ID The productions are understated but surgical, with a warm tone reminiscent of hip-hop's golden age. The collaborations really give the album a different sound. Saba continues to prove that he is one of the most precise storytellers of his generation. The highlights are the great chemistry between No ID and Saba and the sincere, precise, without overacting.

Westside Gunn - HEELS HAVE EYES 2
78

Heel Have Eyes 2 confirms one thing: Westside Gunn knows how to transform the strange into aesthetics. The album isn't here to reinvent his formula, but to push it into an even more theatrical, almost pictorial space. We find that unique blend of decadent luxury, stylized violence, and cultural references that make Gunn a unique figure in rap. The atmosphere is heavy, and we still find Westside's nonchalant flow and voice, which stands out so much that the beats are minimalist. ... read more

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
94

With The Fall-Off, J. Cole delivers a project that transcends the simple status of an album.
It is an artistic testament, a 101-minute double album in which he revisits his entire career, his doubts, his victories, his regrets, and his vision of rap. With this album, J. Cole becomes one of the best storytellers. No misses with 24 songs. 24 songs with successful sounds like “Safety,” “The Fall of Is Inevitable,” or The Best One“39 Intro.” J. Cole masters all ... read more

Odeal - The Fall That Saved Us
81

With The Fall That Saved Us, Odeal has created a short but intensely coherent EP, where each track seems crafted to reinforce his neo-soul universe. In 23 minutes, he manages to create a warm, introspective, and elegant atmosphere, carried by a voice sadly the ep is too short In short, The Fall That Saved Us is an EP carried by a unique voice and clear artistic direction.

MAVI - The Pilot
86

A great way to introduce me to Mavi's world. His flows are so well done, every track I played had a new flow. A good mixtape, all the tracks are different and still superb. I'm clearly shocked, you have to stream it and give him some love.

Khamari - To Dry a Tear
84

To Dry a Tears is the best rnb album of this year! It almost makes us forget the lack of Frank Ocean with its light production that lets you get carried away with its soft voice, a really very good album

Tyler, The Creator - Goblin
80

I really found this album good, the productions are quite dark but I quite liked the theme, the lyrics are rather limited but it fits well with the style.

Taylor Swift - The Life of a Showgirl
5

How it can be worse each time she releases a new album even worse than the previous one it sounded like music made with AI no but frankly I'm stunned who still lets her release shit like that

Tems - For Broken Ears

Vince Staples - Dark Times
87

Vince Staples' DARK Times is an incredible album,

a moving album with tracks like Shame on the Devil Little Homies where he talks about his trauma, how he deals with fame, he speaks openly on this richly produced and atmospheric project with touches of jazz. Dark Times manages to maintain a consistent mood and narrative throughout the album, and Vince's lyrics are meaningful. Sometimes you have to go back and listen again to fully understand. This album is not meant for casual ... read more

JAY-Z - 4:44
86

Review of 4:44 by Jay Z, released on June 30, 2017. Jay Z stops playing the invincible businessman and talks about infidelity and remorse he has encountered in his life, his importance in the African American community. The production is superb, so here's what I took away from it all.
The finely chosen soul and jazz samples are amazing.
A minimalist mix that leaves room for the lyrics, especially for the song 4:44.
A consistent sound.

Taylor Swift - THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT
10

can,t even finish it but the first track is ok

Tyler, The Creator - Wolf
88

Wolf by Tyler the Creator is amazing. Tyler changes his dark beat that he used for Goblin and Bastard to move more towards instrumental jazz soul like we know him. Tyler also changes his flow, aggressive flow, soft and many other more sentimental tracks like Answer where he talks about his father who left when he was very young. The storytelling is exceptional. This love triangle told in the album. Wolf is a rich, varied, dense and sometimes chaotic project, but this album is worth taking a ... read more

Brent Faiyaz - Sonder Son
77

Sonder sound by brent faiyaz is a pretty solid album with a good R&B production, touches of lofi here and there but no more, a fairly good storytelling and interesting, good interludes but there is a big positive point and a big negative point, let's start with the positive, brent faiyaz's voice is excellent and the negative point is the lack of creativity and diversity

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
97

Good kid maad city by kendrick lamar

This album is near perfection this album feel like a movie

Kendrick lyric perfect The production is flawless. Dre’s influence is there, but Kendrick’s voice is what drives everything. He switches flows to easy for him
The album talk about racisim hidentity, violence, faith, and redemption. Kendrick positions hims but there is some minor flaw like some song could be a litlle bit long

JID - God Does Like Ugly
87

Jid god does like ugly is amazing is fourth studio album

Jid flow is a razor he can change everytime in track like youugly or wrk in this album he talk about is fatherhood and
systemic injustice, JID’s storytelling is very god and emotionally i can hear it in track like“Gz” or “Glory”
Production variety i mix of jazz gospel trap boom bap the instrumental really make me feel like a yeezus Lite

Gunna - The Last Wun
50

Gunna the last wun is a repetition over and over from the opening track to the outro. A the same flow Many songs blur together, with recycled flows and indistinct production lyrical mid no expecting that much from gunna The Last Wun isn’t a terrible album—it’s just frustratingly midd Gunna has the talent and potential to drop an amazing album but he don’t want there is some high like the feat with wizkid or the song sakpase
