Mila J - December 2018

The production is simple, not many bells or whistles. I like this choice. The mix is smooth and it allows Mila J's voice to really shine. Honest lyrics that deal in more than just the normal cliches of r&b. Lyrics that indicate that the person behind them is talking about a real lived relationship. Track 4 features a male singer called MIGH-X who reminds me of Frank Ocean with his melodic creativity. The last track broadens the importance of what lovers share; not only can love shared fulfill sexual angst and longing in its participants but it can "change the world." Call me sentimental.
