The White Stripes - Elephant
95

An album that demands to be listened to

The Killers - Hot Fuss
95

Are people really that snobbish they can’t admit this is a classic

Franz Ferdinand - Franz Ferdinand
90

Really excellent, but in the same year we had Modest Mouse and Arcade Fire, got lost in legendary status

Modest Mouse - Good News For People Who Love Bad News
95

Another album you need to listen too even if you think you won’t like it.

Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One
95

One of the most relaxing albums of all time

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea
95

Much like Funeral from Arcade Fire, this was an album I thought was a meme, but then I listened to it and like Frank Reynolds in Always Sunny In Philadelphia said “I get it”

100

A revelation, it’s influence cannot be overstated

Johnny Cash - American V: A Hundred Highways
95

Which of you bozos are rating this lower than 90?

The Killers - Sam's Town
80

Not as bad as people think it is

Muse - Black Holes and Revelations
80

I mean, it's good, but absolutely a downgrade from their earlier work

TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain
85

It's pretty good, not as memorable as some people say

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not
90

The raw energy this debut sticks with you forever

Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now
85

Man, critics were really harsh on this album. Yeah, it's not as good as MCR and Brand New's albums of this year, but don't act like the first half of this album isn't consistently producing banger after banger. My Blue Heaven is without a shadow of a doubt they're best song they ever produced.

Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
100

Nothing needed to be said, perfection

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
100

You're a liar if you say you don't love this album

Arcade Fire - Funeral
95

You know, this is one of those albums you hear about that you think "there's no way it lives up to the hype". But it more than lived up to it, it absolutely expanded my taste in music when I listened to it decades ago. Like butter on the ears, this album is so easy to digest and revisit over and over again.
