Really just put something together that really made me feel like I was there experiencing the pain with him. A tearjerker is what this is.
Great poppy rock album, although it's not all it seems as River's writing is always telling something deeper in all these songs, amazing album.
Favorite Songs: No One Else, Buddy Holly, Undone - The Sweater Song, Surf Wax America, Say It Ain't So, In The Garage, and Only In Dreams.
Least Favorite Song: My Name Is Jonas
Lives up to the hype, I don't want to spoil anything, go listen to it.
Jazzy as shit, obviously, this entire project is sad and depressing knowing what happens in the future to Mac (R.I.P.), but there is something about this project that doesn't stop me from replaying it over and over again. AND HE DID IT WITHOUT A DRAKE FEATURE!
Favorite Songs: A lot of them.
Least Favorite Songs: Friends.
Very synthy, definitely their most danceable album, but the production is so enticing and addicting. MC Ride screaming, is so badass for no reason like, dawg is screaming and yelling on this experimental electronic dance song, but it goes so hard.
Favorite Songs: The Fever, Blackjack, Hustle Bones, I've Seen Footage, System Blower, Punk Weight, Bitch Please, and Hacker.
Least Favorite Songs: Lost Boys, and The Cage.
This album truly is the representation of California and fun, never been more entertained listening to an album, genuinely such a fun experience, and funny as hell too! Such a great album, with banging beats, slamming bars, and pure vibes!
Favorite Songs: I'm That Type Of N***a, Soul Flower - Remix, Passin' Me By, Otha Fish, Pack The Pipe, and Return Of The B-Boy.

His best album, hands down. This thing is a masterpiece to me, the replayability, the catchy guitar solos, Mac's voice, this album has it all, I really recommend this album. GO GIVE IT A LISTEN.
Favorite Songs: All of them. Except...
Least Favorite Song: Sherril.
R.I.P. DOOM. This duo one of the best albums of this century, including Madlibs amazing smoked out production and Doom's talented rapping...this project is phenomenal.
Favorite Songs: All of them. Except...
Least Favorite Song: Accordian.
Deleted my original review cause of how wrong I was about this album. If you didn't see my original review, just know I said the album was overrated and overhyped which I later realized I was very wrong and actually loved the album. Absolute fucking masterclass as usual from Madlib on the beats, and Freddie has the best rapping performance on this album than any other of his albums.
Favorite Songs: Higher, Thuggin', Robes, Broken, Lakers, and Pinãta.

Another Freddie Gibbs and Madlib project where I did not understand the hype. Look, I'm sorry, I might be insane but this project didn't live up to all the hype I've been hearing which sucks cause if I didn't hear anything about this project I would've fucked with it heavy because it's still a good album. Madlib production still goes, and Gibbs is doing what he does best but overall I didn't feel strongly towards this project.

Crazy to think Mr. Bada$$ made this in highschool, this really is a mixtape gem. Everyone who worked on this project is so talented, R.I.P Steez.
Favorite Songs: Survival Tactics, Killuminati, World Domination, Pennyroyal, and Righteous Minds.
Least Favorite Song: Third Eye Shit.
One of the better rap mixtapes I've heard, Earl raps like the world is ending while being a child and sounding like a 10 year old, Tyler and Left Brain go crazy on the production, even the features rap their asses off. Unlike other Odd Future projects like Goblin, this mixtape implements the horrocore aspect very well in a way where it doesn't feel forced and lazy. Earl would've been on top of the world at OF's peak if his mom didn't send him to Samoa.

Remember when I said last album was depressing? Scratch that. This album is depressing as fuck, and it has some of the strangest production I've heard in an album since Atrocity Exhibition. This album mostly contains a lot of one minute songs and some random sound bites, very addicting project, I don't know how to explain it.
Favorite Songs: Shattered Dreams, Cold Summers, Nowhere2go, December 24, Ontheway!, The Mint, The Bends, Azucar, Eclipse, Veins, and Riot!

I understand why people like this album, It's not my thing but I can see why people like this. The strange and compressed production all make the album listening experience very intriguing and exciting but sadly I didn't get that much out of it, the lyrics are pretty depressing and makes you wonder if Earl is ok. There are a good amount of good tracks I pull out of it but overall i probably won't be returning to this album as much as I wanted to.

This album is insane work. Crazy to think Earl pulled off this whole album right after coming back from Samoa, everyone who worked on the production killed it, they created the craziest soundscapes and just overall great beats. Earl still raps like his life depends on it throughout this album while still flowing incredibly well. This might be one of the most consistent albums I've heard besides a few bumps in the road, but overall this album is a nice well packed gift to any OF ... read more
The very best of cloud rap and I'm serious, the production by Clams Casino, SpaceGhostPurrp, and more goes insane, really the best of the best beats on this mixtape. One of my favorite mixtapes by far, the lyricism and production just goes insane, one of the most influential rap releases of the time and suddenly everyone had eyes on A$AP.

Great dance album, I personally like this more than Chromakopia. This album isn't the craziest thing in the world but Tyler still manages to pull off his amazing production skills on this album. This album is full of party bangers you can play on the aux and have fun to. I have nothing deep to say about this project JUST HAVE FUN!
Favorite Songs: The whole tracklist except...
Least Favorite Song: Don't Tap The Glass / Tweakin'
Tyler getting personal shows that he's comfortable to share his life with his fanbase (even though some of them are fucking weirdos.) The production is nice and soft and Tyler stops flexing like he was on CMIYGL and gets very personal in his lyrics. I like that Tyler is more comfortable now, but in my opinion this album is big step down from his previous albums. The replay ability is not there, when this album came out I listened to it three times and never went back to it, even the alter ... read more
