Wish that Drake and Future would get back together already kmt.
56 Nights doesn't compare to Monster, but it is still a good trap mixtape. The songs have good production quality with no glaringly bad songs with shit bars, but excluding March Madness, nothing truly special goes on in this. Its just good. Which is still high praise, but after getting Monster this feels a little lackluster. Nevertheless, still quality.
Following up Monster with this leads to a bit of a disappointment. A quality one, but still a bit disappointing.
Everyone glazes Throw Away and Codeine Crazy. AND SO DO I. But that doesn't mean the rest of this mixtape is inferior. All of the songs on this mixtape have some of Future's best rapping performances. A feature from Lil Wayne on after that is the only one, and Wayne and Future deliver. Metro's production was some of his best work. Very easily the better album from these two. Trap bangers, good beats, good feature list and of course, it is the album that started the beef.
My personal favourite album. I absolutely adore it, but I can point out its flaws. FOR A NUT is lowkey shit, even though I think it has a bit of charm. The second half of I'M DAT NIGGA wasn't needed, even if it was a bit funny. VOODOO is horrible, Kodak Black's voice is annoying and there was no reason for it to be on here. However, the flows from Future on 712PM, HOLY GHOST, GOLD STACKS, KEEP IT BURNIN, I'M ON ONE, WE JUS WANNA GET HIGH and MASSAGING ME all overshadow the ... read more
In my opinion, there are a lot of gems in this project that aren't nearly as famous as they should be. The main song on this is obviously Life is Good where both Drake and Future do their bit, but there's still a lot of gems to be unearthed when listening to this. However, something that is definitely not a gem is the Life Is Good remix, no need for that.
Easily his most underrated project. An hour and a minute of trap bangers. Good beats, good vocals, nothing flashy.
