this is a misconception many kpop listeners have just because we are more exposed to the main stream pop that doesn't mean that they are a lot of great indie, k rock, neo soul artists and so on they are just not known for us the international fans as much as the popy ones 🤔

@xz that's the point though, non-pop korean artists get less exposure partially due to how overbearing the pop industry can be.

I totaly agree as a former kpop-stan. Many often only think of kpop as Koreas only music but when you look deeper you find artists like Mid-Air Thief and Room 306.
