OK.. So, I'm back. hi.

I haven't been reviewing anything for the past almost month LMAO, and a lot of stuff has happened since then, and I didn't get the chance to talk about any of it. But just know that I support the movement and I'm with ACAB fully, and since I'm writing this, I'll leave some petitions to sign in the end. i know this is Off topic, but I felt like I had to say something. ilu <3 and let's just get into this phenomenal album.

I've never disliked Vaporwave. I thought some of it seemed a little lazy, for example Floral Shoppe. I haven't listened to the full album, but from my little exposure to the songs, mainly リサフランク420 / 現代のコンピュ, and it sounded good, but definitely idle, basically being a short sample from a Diana Ross song, looped for 7 minutes, with other samples from the song added. I've also heard a little Blank Banshee and Macross 82-99 (Neon Indian and George Clanton too if that counts, but they make Chillwave and Synthpop so idk) although those dive into other territories of vaporwave, Blank Banshee making Vaportrap, and Macross 82-99 making Future Funk, but other than those, this is my first exposure to a full Vaporwave body of work, and... WHAT THE FUCK, THIS IS AMAZING !!!!!

I've heard a lot of great things about death's dynamic shroud and especially this album, but never got around to listening to it mostly because of its length, but I said fuck it and listened to it.. i have no words :') How does one make music this good, this is astonishing. The perfect blend of all emotions: Happiness on songs like 내 마음은 떨고 and CD Player Pt. III, sadness on 이보다 좋을 수는 없겠어, love on 너 땜에 맘이 맘이 맘이 맘이 괴로워요, and like a 'tears of joy' moment I guess on 난 괜찮다고 또 웃으며 Good Bye. Every sorts of emotions are packed in this one hour trip of album, and all of that
only threw a bunch of samples of K-Pop to Nintendo to Drake, and even sampling their own music, it's honestly astounding. Psychedelic, Trippy, Emotional, I'll Try Living Like This was love at first.. listen?? LMAO you know what I mean. After listening to 너 땜에 맘이 맘이 맘이 맘이 괴로워요 and Loving Is Easy before listening to the album fully, I just knew I was gonna love it, and go figure I was right, this is one of the best albums ever made, and when you love it, you can't stop listening to it. This has been in rotation ever since I first listened to it, and each time I loved it even more and more and more until it arrived to the score that it is at now. And honestly I think I've listened to it too many times. Let me explain.

Now that I've listened to it so many, I'm scared that I'll listen to it to the point where I won't be able to listen to it again, ergo scared that I would get sick of it, and that feeling has already kind of started, and I don't want that to happen, the album is amazing 🥺 But anyways let me stop ranting and rambling for a minute and just talk about each song.

너 땜에 맘이 맘이 맘이 맘이 괴로워요 opens up the album, and man does it open up in a phenomenal way. The use of the AOA sample throughout the song is absolutely phenomenal. And the original by itself is a really fun, but too short, K-Pop song. But after being slowed and chopped, I personally think it's even better. The original sounds like a more dancey song, this version sounds.. romantic. Loving Is Easy continues the greatness, and every track does. I love the vocal effects put on the sample in the beginning, I will point I was a little weirded out in the beginning, but after that second part rolls in and multiple listens, I can say that this is a great great great track. 이보다 좋을 수는 없겠어 is definitely the worst song on here, but that doesn't make it bad at all, it's a 9/10 song afterall. But what really bothers me are the vocals, they sounds pretty awful. The instrumentation is flawless as always, it's just that the vocals sound like shit. I'm not sure if the singer themselves can't sing, or maybe after slowing the vocals down, it made it worse, but what I know is that, though the instrumentation is amazing, the vocals definitely need some help, but I still love the shit out of it. 내 마음은 떨고 is easily the funnest track here, it just brings nothing but good vibes and a great time, but I will mention that it kind of drags on for way too long. And well O could say that for the whole album, the other tracks have a more enticing ideas, but that doesn't make it any less amazing. CD Player Pt. III was my favorite for a little bit, but I think I like the Intro and the Outro more, but doesn't make it less of a BANGER. We get yet another AOA sample (damn mfs really like AOA), and once they use it in an amazing way 😌, just a banger. And the outro is a 7 fucking minute long EPIC, and man do I love the shit out of it!!!4!;!;!!;!; The first half is definitely a weirdly hopeful and dancey song. "You've got to survive", the sample exclaims. But the second half is a more electronic and psychedelic banger. This whole track is just phenomenal, no missteps are taken, and is just the best way you can close an album

Yeah, this is awesome

Best Tracks: All of them
Worst Tracks: Shut up
