The Aubreys - Smoke Bomb
80

Their best song yet. Keep em coming!

Djo - Keep Your Head Up
90

GREAT. So many layers, so g r o o v y. Some of Joe's best vocals yet. I'm super excited to see what else he releases soon.

Wallows - Nobody Gets Me (Like You)
60

EDIT: Lowering score to 60 (was 70). It's just not hitting right for me. It's all because of that chorus mostly, the rest is pretty good. It's too short also imo. Fingers crossed for other upcoming tracks to be better.

I'm left feeling a little underwhelmed from this song compared to other stuff from Wallows but to be fair, this was made remotely during the pandemic (hence the title of the upcoming EP, "Remote"). It's fairly catchy and fun but the hook can become a little too ... read more

M.A.G.S. - M.A.G.S.

Thanks to Bobby Burns for introducing me to this guy's wonderful music. Very fun, noisy indie rock. This is so criminally underrated, please give it a listen.

DJ Khaled - I Got the Keys

Future, shut the fuck up.

Waka Flocka Flame - Hard In Da Paint

J. Cole - Can't Get Enough

I see the other reviewers are on the same page as me.

Eminem - The Monster

Probably the worst track on MMLP2.

2 Chainz - Birthday Song
80

"The song is about the rapper's desire for women with large buttocks." - Wikipedia

Kanye West - Runaway

I felt like I was listening to a Big Baller B track in the second half.

A. FUCKING. CLASSIC.

Some of the best production I have ever heard.

Drake - Hotline Bling
80

elevator type beat

Drake - Headlines
80

Easily Drake at his best.

Kendrick Lamar - HUMBLE.

Overrated. He has so much better than this.

The Aubreys - Soda & Pie

I was pretty saddened to hear that Calpurnia (Finn's previous band) was calling it quits back in November of 2019. Just now I come to find out that Finn and his bandmate Malcolm have made a new Indie Rock project called The Aubreys. It's pretty much more of the same sound from Calpurnia so if you weren't into that then you probably won't like this. The only new things I noticed were it feeling a little more mature and the addition of some synths. As with their previous music, it's obvious they ... read more

Neon Trees - I Can Feel You Forgetting Me
40

Everybody Talks was a pretty good song, so this must be good too, right? Eh, not really. "I Can Feel You Forgetting Me" (very true title) is a boring and painfully average pop record. I already felt like it was too long at only 33 minutes. Nice album cover though.
