君島大空 [Ohzora Kimishima] - Gogo No Hanshakô
78
Ohzora Kimishima has a unique musical style in the Japanese music scene and can be compared to the likes of Mid-Air Thief. And I think this is also evident in this EP "Gogo No Hanshakô".
However, the melody lines and other aspects of the music certainly retain a Japanese musical vein, and it seems to me that pop and progressivity are well-combined. The catchy Japanese pop-tinged melodies and developments spun amidst the somewhat weird sounds with electronic interpretations are ... read more
Andrew Prahlow - Outer Wilds (Original Soundtrack)

"Outer Wilds" is one of the most highly acclaimed indie games released recently and is generally considered a masterpiece. But its music is as good as the game.
It is a perfect blend of Americana musicality and cosmic electronic and ambient elements that make this music very unique. Of course, it is an instrumental album since it is a soundtrack, but its musical interest is no less than that of other great albums, and if I were to talk about the musicality itself, I would say, ... read more
Four Tet - Rounds

Kieran Hebden's solo project Four Tet's third album "Rounds," beautifully blends organic live-recorded sampling with electronic techniques and has become a staple of the IDM album, but the beauty of this album can still be listened to even today.

The scenes that come to mind from the ... read more
Hiroto Kudo - Interior

The sophomore album by Japanese electronica artist Hiroto Kudo is characterized by a very soothing and comfortable sound and offers a good atmosphere.
There are moments when the abstract nature of the music makes it feel a bit insistent, but the organic percussion is very distinctive, and I feel that this adds a great deal of flair to the music.
Although a modest work, this album is surprisingly inspirational.

JPEGMAFIA & Danny Brown - SCARING THE HOES
80
This is a collaboration album by Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA, two of the most distinctive artists in the current hip-hop game. And it's a very chaotic and weird album, so much so that it is hard to explain. The sampling is weird, the mixing is weird, everything is weird. But that's what makes the content more intense, exciting, and unique than anything else.
It may not be their best, but this album has a charm that no other album has, and that is why I like it.
