Sprain - Sprain

Don't know why, but this really scratched my slowcore/post-rock itch I was looking for. Imo perfect from start to finish, couldn't find a single unpleasant or boring moment while listening to this.

Aphex Twin - th1 [evnslower]

In my restless dreams,
I see that town.
Silent Hill.

Cities Aviv - Working Title For The Album Secret Waters

Probably my favorite album from him so far.

Adrianne Lenker - instrumentals

Sort of just lost myself in the beauty of these lush moody warm sounding improvised guitar tracks

Magdalena Bay - Imaginal Disk

I'm over here stroking my dick I got lotion on my dick right now I'm just stroking my shit I'm horny as fuck man I'm a freak man like

Magdalena Bay - That's My Floor

The fact that Magdalena Bay released 4 singles and every one of them can be considered the best from the rollout so far just shows how talented and creative Matt and Mica are.

Holy, Holy Fucking Shit: 40,000

Cities Aviv - GUM

Amazing amazing production, I loved a lot of the beats here. The vocals were also much more enjoyable this time.

Cities Aviv - BLACK PLEASURE

Awesome production, over the top distorted vocals that I'm not a big fan of. I feel like as time goes by I'll get used to them, he kinda reminds me of dean blunt.

JOBA - People Need People

People Need Joba

billy woods & Messiah Musik - Church

In these so called "dips" in billy woods' career, he still makes some phenomenal music. Songs like "Pollo Rico", "All Jokes Aside" and "Paraquat" really stick out as the highlights of the album but don't overshadow the rest of the tracklist. In fact I'd say that not a single song on this album is bad or boring, the album has great flow with some lowkey experimental but not too overwhelming beats that make for an amazing experience.

Cigarettes After Sex - X’s

Cigarettes Without Sex

Clairo - Sling
95

I've listened to this album since it's release in 2021 and have never once gotten bored of it. The instrumentation present on this album is so incredible and I loved almost every single moment on this album from the beginning. At this point I think I've listened to this album anywhere between 10-20 times which is crazy. (Originally gave a 95 rating on Jul 8, 2023)

Clairo - Charm
90

She doesn't miss

SAMURAI - Never Fade Away
95

Certified hood classic

Joey Valence & Brae - NO HANDS
85

Second half of the album is a a little boring at times but those first 4 tracks hit different.

Edit: Nvm this is actually pretty hard front to back.

"If you take a shot every time you say "crescendo-core" , "no copyright royalty free" or "pretty good/great album tho" in this review you'd probably be blackout drunk. Also kinda confused as to why you gave this a 70 but according to your track ratings to album is 84 lol. Very confusing half assed review but cool that you gave it a listen."
