I feel like this album isn’t as mature as I thought it’d be. There’s some moments of growth and reflection but just as much where the music sounds the exact same. Both lyrically and production wise
She’s great at what she does. Her niche is definitely something special
There are some generational songs on here. The rest aren’t bad, they just don’t hold a candle to the best of the best
Insanely forward thinking. Crazy that this came out over 20 years ago. It still sounds fresh.
Just a little too long for my liking. If it was twenty minutes shorter then it’d be something really special
It’s immature, loud, and annoying. But weirdly, I think that makes it feel more real. There are some great moments here. It’s just bogged down by weak writing and lackluster performances
I thought it’d be higher energy but I am still impressed. It sounds so lively and passionate. The riffs here are sublime
Some harmonies here are very beautiful. Feels very stripped back and personal. Moreso than his other work.
Phenomenal album. So fresh with so many cool ideas and they all mesh so well together. Definitely a highlight for house music
As my first muse album, I thought this was great. Sounded a lot more like Radiohead than I expected. Very grandiose with cool riffs and excellent production choices.
Great album. Just not my absolute favourite from him. He can clearly grow and do better from this, which he has
While it’s not my thing, I definitely think that it’s high quality. Some of these riffs are insane for the 70’s
So many unique sounds and awesome ideas on display. A wonderful mixtape that never got boring despite its long runtime
I like it, I just don’t love it. The cover of OPN’s animals is sung really strangely. That bodes for the rest of the album too. Sometimes it works but most times it kinda falls flat.
Fine. Nothing all that noteworthy in the grand scheme of hip-hop, other than some catchy songs here and there.
An album that truly puts your mind at ease. Nothing else matters, other than making sure you’re okay
