sometimes, all i need is a really good chill record, and this provides just that

joeb's been on my radar for a while now, and for a debut ep... yeah this slaps. while his more heavy dubstep side present in songs like chainshot & petrols for dinner is (mostly) absent, he still manages to make these songs go really hard. of course, he throws in the full-on heavy banger that is cackatones for good measure too. overall, this is definitely my ep of the year, and i don't see anything topping it anytime soon

this just feels overly abrasive for the sake of it. it may go hard live, but it's not enjoyable at all for a causal listen
