blgtz - 無人テレビの設計図 [Blueprint for Unmanned TV]
96

Ain't no crescendoslop over here, just some really good music.

downy - 第二作品集『無題』再発
90

Similar to their other album, and just as good.

downy - 第一作品集『無題』再発
90

No real way to describe this from my end, but listen if you wanna go into a state of deep focus.

WALRUS - VIRUS
95

I felt like this was one of their louder albums, and I loved it so much.

WALRUS - 20012002
95

Oh my goodness let me ascend above everything please this is so beautiful.

Tawny Peaks - Tawny Peaks
94

Thank you @handsomenapkin for the recommendation, but yeah this project was stunning, and it exceeded in every expectation that I had for it, including vocalisation and good riffs.

Sachiko M, Toshimaru Nakamura & Otomo Yoshihide - Good Morning Good Night
1

When I say that this takes a new low for the worst album Ive ever heard, I mean it.

No offense to people who actually like this because it calms them, but this album did the exact opposite for me. I was always on edge, and every second of me listening to it I wanted to die. Once again, some people react differently to this project, and I respect that, but I could not bear this for any longer than the track length of this project.

God - Possession
99

Someone please save that sax from whatever hellish torment it is going through.

John Coltrane - Meditations
100

Oh nelly this Coltrane guy really knows his stuff huh?

Highsenberg - Superman, Reach The Sun!
88

The samples definitely caught me off-guard, but yes this was actually quite nice.

Coaltar of the Deepers - The Visitors From Deepspace
93

That first song feels targeted... Aside from that, this was their most metal-focused album I've heard so far, and it was really good.

Coaltar of the Deepers - Come Over to the Deepend
90

This cover might genuinely be what the band was seeing while making this album, and I will say it is a really good visual stimulus (judging of course based on the quality of the album). Not to mention this was one of their more metal-heavy albums.

Coaltar of the Deepers - Submerge
91

I am scared of looking at bowling pins nowadays because of that one animation; either way, really great album!

Coaltar of the Deepers - newave
94

This needs like 50 secondaries there is nothing on here that sounds at all like any other song.

Coaltar of the Deepers - No Thank You
93

This band is such a brainfuck

akutagawa - dawn

Imma give this a couple more relistens so that I can truly gather my thoughts, but I think this was really good.

WALRUS - seven
94

Talk about unfairly unknown, I beg please listen to this band. I know not many of the people who follow me look at my review, but Imma act like y'all do just for this instant:

If you want to know more about this amazing band, use this website: https://walrus.nekoweb.org

Anyway about the music, there really is something ethereal about Walrus' albums which I don't find that often in other shoegaze projects, so I beg give them the attention they deserve.

파란노을 [Parannoul] - To See the Next Part of the Dream
95

I ADORE Parannoul's music, and I love the atmosphere that the albums create, especially this one.

MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS - MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS
92

Needless to say that this band is one of the greatest gifts that J-Rock left to offer us in this world.

Darren Korb - Transistor Original Soundtrack
88

I take it I need to play this game.

"I mean fair enough, it's good to know you liked some songs still though, but yeah songs like "he never existed in the first place" were a bit hard for me at first too. I don't know what clicked in me but I eventually loved the voices in the band, so I'd say give it a relisten like around this time right now, to gather your thoughts again."
