E lo fa ... read more

This is one of the rare cases when I have nothing to say about a song. I can just stare at the ceiling and hear this masterclass of beauty
José González - Visions

This song is amazing, maybe just because I needed some mellow instrumentals with a gentle voice to set the atmosphere, but everything in this track is so evocative. I can't wait for his return this september.
Quadeca - From Me To You

This record is getting way too much props. I appreciated what Quadeca is doing with this record, many tracks are interesting and the instrumentals are often very good, but what I see in this user reviews section is exaggerated. What I see is a good starting point from a young talented artist, but surely not the best thing I've listened in this year.

FAVORITE TRACK: Shades of Us

Anna Fox Rochinski - Cherry

I hope that with this tiny review I can incentivize someone to listen to this record. Despite it's quite often a hit and miss through his length, there are some interesting experimentations on the instrumentals, in some way almost "geometric" and well punctuated. Quilt's singer Anna Fox Rochinski's vocals are very pleasant and relaxing. There's some interesting potential, often "wasted" by a redundance of the same sonority, but it definetly deserves better advertising in ... read more
Lana Del Rey - Chemtrails Over the Country Club

I don't want to sound corny, but I'm tired of listening to the same Lana Del Rey record over and over again. I appreciated the change of pace in NFR, but i feel that this record is a regression in her process. I know that a lot of people will be excited for this, but that's not what I want for her career path.

Arab Strap - As Days Get Dark

When i went through "The Turning of Our Bones" for the first time a few months ago I was a bit impressed by some elements such as his voice and the marked rhythm of the instrumentals, but honestly I didn't see the potential for an interesting record. Now that the record has come i saw the user and critic score and, intrigued by that, i began the listening. There's not a single song that underwhelmes me for any reason. It's a very very VERY pleasant listening. And now I will listen to ... read more
Julien Baker - Little Oblivions

From the first time I heard "Faith Healer" i knew that was going to be something special going on. "Little Oblivions" is a more poppish reinterpretation of her wonderful previous record "Turn Out The Lights", making what I hope will be the same path her friend Phoebe Bridgers has done with "Punisher" last year. But personally, between "Punisher" and this I have no doubts on what to choose. I just went through an impressive roller coaster of ... read more

Purely on a sound perspective (it's too soon to come with a lyrics review and my rating may change during the time, but I feel I'm in need to say something about it so who cares) IT'S INCREDIBLE. THAT'S IT, THAT'S WHAT I WANTED TO SAY.

Black Country, New Road - For the first time

First and foremost: this record is amazing, and that's the first time I could say it this year. Considering that "For The First Time" it's actually the first time (have I already said "for the first time"?) for these guys I think that their future will be very very bright. I heard so much maturity on everything my ears are feeling, from the molteplicity of instruments to the vocals and the lyrics. From this morning i played this album at least 4 or 5 times, i've simply lost ... read more

Weezer - OK Human

Orchestral Weezer are not as bad as I've expected! The first leg of the album is fantastic, Numbers is easily one of their best tracks since a looong time. On the second half the record gets a little repetitive and the enormous wave of surprise that caught me at the beginning was slowly fading, but overall the result is very positive for me.
