Tyler, the Creator - Flower Boy

I can't say I was surprised by this because I have never heard anything else by him.

That being said, I'll say that I found this record to have very good lyrics and I thought that the way they were being said over these laid-back, wholesome instrumentals was very interesting.

The album is cohesive even with the alternation between singing calmly (r&b styled) and the more aggressive rapping moments (sometimes with trap elements).

Overall, and taking into consideration that I'm kinda new to these genres, I found this album to be accessible, solid, and lyrically more interesting than I was expecting.
