Djo - Twenty Twenty

I’ve loved this album for a long time. DJO (Joe Keery) created something really special with this album. The second my girlfriend showed me the amazing song
Roddy I knew I was going to entranced by the rest of Twenty Twenty. Luckily Joe Keery’s music has been getting more attention ever since people start catching on that he’s Steve from Stranger Things. It’s honestly really fucking impressive how talented he his in multiple fields of work.

Rico Nasty - Las Ruinas

Rico Nasty is one of my personal favorites in the world of trap.
I think she has a refreshing take on the genre. While this new Mixtape includes a lot of these fresh Ideas, done very well, it also includes a few duds that really hold back this project from being great. I'm happy Rico Nasty is experimenting so much and trying to push even more boundaries, but hopefully she only takes the best ideas from this project to move forward with. Check out the first half.
Steve Lacy - Gemini Rights

Steve Lacey has definitely struck gold with Gemini Rights. This album didn't quite interest me at first, but coming back to it again and again Ive gotten more out of it.
Besides from a few moments where the vocals don't sit in good regards with my ears, This is a pretty solid project that well most definitely make Steve a force to be reckoned with in the Pop/Soul world.
Lil Uzi Vert - Red & White 🔴 ⚪

Lil Uzi Vert returns 2 years after the release of their handful of 2020 projects, the highlight being Eternal Atake which has only grown on me every time I listen to it. While RED & WHITE may prove Uzi hasn't "fallen off', it also shows how little Uzi has grown artistically. None of this really feels new to me. I know Uzi fans will be happy to get anything but I can't help but wish we got a little more after 2 years
Jack White - Entering Heaven Alive

Jack White releases his second album of the year following his eccentric but flawed Fear of The Dawn. This album follows a blatantly different path with much more acoustic like tracks. While this is no where near a BAD record, I can't help but feel like it's super unnecessary compared to the other release. I do think the song-writing is good, but overall I'm feeling very luke warm on most of these songs.
I think I'll always choose Fear of the Dawn over this.
