This is my first time reviewing an indie rock album, and I was pleasantly surprised to listen to it. The fact that this was their debut album makes it even more impressive. This album feels healing in a way. Out of all the recent indie rock albums I have heard, this one is up there, encouraging me to listen to more of their discography.

JID's third studio album The Forever Story is one of the best albums I have ever heard. My thoughts have remained the same ever since my first listen. It hasn't even been a year yet from the initial release and I think that is safe to say that this album has already cemented itself as a classic. JID has made massive strides in improvement since his last album 4 years before delivering us with a rap album filled with variety and great lyricism. I can't wait to see what he does next

From an individual song standpoint I think there is a lot of replay value, however this is where the album starts to suffer is when its in a full listen. Some of the repetitiveness of the album is exposed here holding it back from being a truly great album. On a better note this is definitely one of metros best works but I do think he can do better, granted, its not all his fault. Just some missed potential. A very lenient rating here.

Denzel Curry takes a new route in this project compared to his past works and I think it really does pay off here. I don't believe he has one bad verse or song on this entire album it all flows together very well. This is mostly due to his newly added jazz elements that he further adds later in his deluxe. Another great addition to his already impressive discog
