The Lonesome Crowded West

This has become my most beloved album in my early 20s, acting as the perfect soundtrack to these past few years. The Lonesome Crowded West has been labeled as the bible of Emo and Indie Rock as a whole, and further exploration becomes clear as to why that is. I have always been aware of the reputation that this album possesses and it regretfully took me a while to see it for myself. Well I'll be damed, they were right. There is not a wasted moment here, it is truly an album that encompasses so much in terms of quality and diversity in as much to make the listening experience feel completely unlike anything else.
